Products for the renovation of old floors
When to use
- For renovating an old industrial floor showing signs of strong wear
- To achieve the maximum hardening of the original floor and improve its features
- Reducing the porosity of the original surface, higher frost resistance
- Complying with the principles of the original application according to the design documentation
How to do it
- Clean the original floor and get rid of loose parts
- Intensively saturate the surface with water
- Apply Fortedur 1091 cement bridge
- Mix the screed powder with water according to instructions
- Spread and even out with a squeegee
- Once the surface hardens, smooth the floor with a rotary buffer machine
- Apply Fortecoat sealing lacquer
- At the end, cut around the joints and fill in with grout
When to use
- For an old concrete floor that’s showing signs of wear and dust
- Craters and potholes are not the issue at all
- You are looking for a quick solution that you can do by yourself
- You don’t have time to repair the original concrete slab
How to do it
- Clean and sweep the floor
- Place the tiles on the concrete surface
- Easily connect them using the locking system
- Crop the tiles at the walls and in the corners
- Connect the entryway trims
- And ready to go
- Clean it with ordinary detergents
- You can replace individual parts
When to use
- Making the substrate even for the subsequent use of other floorings
- Renovating the finish of a concrete slab, fixing imperfections in the surface
- Improving the working properties of the floor
How to do it
- Grind and mill the surface if inconsistent
- Possible that oil stains need to be removed with MMA resin with sand
- Use Fortegrout to fill in cracks and dents
- Prime the surface with a coating of Fortecoat
- Pour and spread Fornivel screed
- Apply the final coat
- Locate gaps and fill them in with the grout
