Fortecoat
Coatings for cement floors
Fortecoat coatings are tailored to the needs of the customer. Choose your product, whether you are looking for a final coat or self-leveling floor, a primer underneath a self-leveling screed, or a skim coat for a fresh concrete surface.
The places to use skim coats on concrete surfaces include high-load shelf warehouses, manufacturing facilities, workshops and logistics and warehousing centers. Modified floor systems control dust, increase mechanical and chemical resistance, and facilitate maintenance.
Skim coat for fresh concrete and dry mixes - Fortecoat 1425, 1426, 1427
A solution that treats, seals, impregnates and cures as the final coat for concrete floors, finished with the technology of machine smoothing dry mixes or screeds. Using this solution reduces the loss of mixing water, thereby improving curing conditions, which ensure higher strength values for load-bearing concrete slabs and their surface layers. It plugs up pores at the same time, considerably reducing the absorption of the surface. Floor systems modified in this manner control dust, increase mechanical and chemical resistance, and facilitate maintenance.
Advantages
- Product 1426 is water-based – solvent free
- Can be applied on the day of laying concrete
- Simultaneous treatment for concrete and creating the final layer
- Optimizes the process of the hydration of concrete
- Seals and impregnates the surface
- Increases strength properties
- Limits dust and increases resistance to abrasion

Acrylic penetration emulsion coat under a self-leveling screed and coating - Fortecoat 1410
Acrylic emulsion water-soluble concentrated solution. It comes in plastic containers, diluted at the desired concentration directly in the workplace. It contains additives that ensure the good adhesion of the primer to the substrate and also layers applied to the substrate. The coating penetrates the substrate and reduces its water absorption, while it strengthens it and ensures it’s waterproof. At the same time it creates a smooth substrate on the surface, a hardening film that prevents air from escaping the substrate, and so increasing the adhesion. The coating is applied to stabilize and renovate eroded concrete surfaces.
Advantages
- Easy workability
- Low economic demands of the coating
- Good penetration and stabilization properties
- Low-viscosity solution of the final product
- Good mechanical properties
- Stable in frost/thaw cycles
- Penetrating product with many years of proven use

Fortecoat 1420 – Colorless final coat
Water-based solution that treats, impregnates and cures as a final coat for Fornivel self-leveling flooring.
The product has been specially developed to make the shiny, colorless concrete floor surfaces used in production or storage facilities uniform. Using this solution reduces the loss of mixing water, thereby improving curing conditions, which ensure higher strength values for load-bearing concrete slabs and their surface layers.
It also forms a smooth, firm film on the surface of the substrate, sealing the pores and significantly reducing the absorption of water by the surface. Floor systems modified in this manner control dust, increase mechanical and chemical resistance, and facilitate maintenance.
Advantages
- Easy workability
- Low economic demands of the coating
- Simultaneous treatment for the surface and creating the final layer
- Can be applied 24 hours after laying a self-leveling floor
- Increases abrasion resistance
- Seals and impregnates the surface
- Limits the formation of dust
